People shrug and their eyes glaze over when I tell them our government (FCC) is working on declaring the internet a "public utility". The purpose of which is to tell you what you are allowed to say, not say, support, not support... what information is approved by the government, etc.
Now Cass Sunstein is nearly salivating on his great ideas on how to require by law every website or article/blog post to offer an opposing idea with each entry.
Imagine I write me feelings and beliefs about abortion and the federal government requires by law that I have to put up 2-3 websites and phone numbers of where to go and get abortions and how to fill out the forms for federal funding of it. WHAT THE !?!?!
